Highlight linguistic and resource barriers in Haiti’s primary education and outline targeted support (materials, teacher training, tech) to improve rural education quality and accessibility.
Various Trade schools offer “marketable skills” or vocational training programs in Haiti, primarily to address high unemployment and lack of opportunities for youth. We assist the youth of the local community and district in which the trade school resides so that they can obtain the necessary education and skills.
This community empowerment project enabled women especially single mothers to get the means to open their own business which will help to support their families. We also assist them with training and workshops to better educate them on how to successfully run a small business.
